Mason Homes Wins “Best Innovative Product Design”
For Courtyard Collection Design At 2016 BILD Awards!

Presented by the Building Industry and Land Development Association, the BILD Awards recognize astounding achievements by new home builders across the region. This year’s winner for “Best Innovative Product Design” was Mason Homes’ Oakwood model.

Unlike a traditional town or semi, where the backyard is virtually land-locked, the Oakwood takes full advantage of handy rear lane access. As a result, moving things in and out of the backyard or garage, like a BBQ, mower or patio furniture, is a breeze!

With its inviting courtyard, soaring vaulted ceilings and sun-filled open concept interior, the Oakwood Model is just one of the many fabulous home styles designed by the Mason Homes Design Team, built by Mason Homes and showcased in Mason Homes’ award-winning Courtyard Collection.

“We are thrilled with this honour,” says Mason Homes’ President, Gord Mason.

“Drawing on New Urbanism architectural themes, our Courtyard Collection residences, including the Oakwood, have been intelligently designed to address needs of buyers who are looking for a lot of home in a smaller space, is Energy Star qualified, and features a wide array of Green for Life features — in short, a better design, better built home.  ”It’s Not Because We Have To, It’s Because We Can.

Mason Homes Named “2016 Builder Of The Year”
And “2016 Green Member Of The Year“!

The annual Peterborough & The Kawarthas Home Builders Association (PKHBA) Awards Night Gala saw Mason Homes win top honours.

At the awards, which recognize and honour the special achievements of local homebuilders, Mason Homes captured top honours when they were named both “Green Member of the Year” and “Tract Builder of the Year”.

Additional awards included Best Home under 1,600 sq. ft. for the ‘Cambray’ in Parklands, Best Home 1,601-2,500 sq. ft. for the ‘Balsam’ in Lakeside Village, Best Home over 2,501 sq. ft. for the ‘Monarch’ in Lakeside Village, Best Ad Campaign and Best Model Home/Sales Centre.
“We are thrilled with this honour,” says Mason Homes’ President, Gord Mason.

“We’re very proud of the liveability of design and attention to detail found within our greener, smarter built homes. We don’t simply build homes, we build homes that are Green For Life. An environmentally sustainable house shouldn’t be considered a luxury, it should be the standard all homes aspire to.”
